반스 ''(Banseu)'' is an NPC dressed in a green guard uniform, carrying a staff topped with gold. His hat is distinctly mushroom-shaped. Based on his nearly identical uniform, he appears to have been designed as a guard alongside [[#에블라 | 에블라 ''(Ebeulla)'']].
''(Romanized: Rupert)'' is an NPC that shares sprite with [https://bbb.hidden-street.net/npc/magician-job-instructor Magician Job Instructor]. 루시 ''(Lucy)'' is an early weapon shop NPC, likely a prototype of [https://maplestorywiki.net/w/Lucy Lucy] from Amherst.
 
She sells warrior and archer weapons: swords, polearms, bows, and crossbows. To do this, you would need to talk to your original first job advancement NPC, and you would be teleported to a White Map (similar to the GM map) with the NPC Asia on it. There, you will be able to select your desired new job, and be able to change your looks and gender. Your skills, AP and SP would carry over the new job. To do this however, you would to buy a special item on the Cash Shop for 1,000 NX[[#ref4|[4]]].


Rupert is most likely a helper NPC to get your 3rd job change before the quest we all know was properly introduced, or an NPC used to test the new job.

He was first found in Happyville, before El Nath was introduced in the game.[1] He was moved to El Nath once it was released.[2] He has the quest value of job_3th, and contrary to the previous NPCs that had a quest value, this one is unique, was never reused, and in the BrasilMS Server Leak the script for it is totally empty.

This NPC was used on Tespia during the test of 3rd job advancement, and was used to facilitate the job advancement before the quest for it was introduced to the game.

There was a short-lived rebirth system that took place in the Japanese MapleStory test server in 2011[3] where players, once reaching 120, could rebirth into any other class under the same tree-branch. Adventurers could choose any adventurer class, Cygnus Knights could choose any Cygnus Knight. The rest of classes weren't available to rebirth and it was limited only to the previously named. This system never made it out of the test server.

To do this, you would need to talk to your original first job advancement NPC, and you would be teleported to a White Map (similar to the GM map) with the NPC Asia on it. There, you will be able to select your desired new job, and be able to change your looks and gender. Your skills, AP and SP would carry over the new job. To do this however, you would to buy a special item on the Cash Shop for 1,000 NX[4].
